2nd Wine of Chateau Clerc Milon.

The Pastourelle is a traditional dance that evokes the romantic encounter between a knight and a shepherdess: this name echoes the dancers who adorn the label of the Grand Vin. This precious miniature in gold, enamel and pearls from the Wine Museum in the Art of Mouton Rothschild Castle, belonged to the Empress Catherine II of Russia, and it is inspired by characters from the Commedia dell'Arte. The Baroness Philippine de Rothschild chose this emblem for Clerc Milon because of his love for the theater.

Round and supple wine, Pastourelle Clerc Milon seduced by the elegant richness of its aromas and flavors. It is also the living testimony of the considerable qualitative progress made on the property since the entry into scene of Baron Philippe, then his descendants.

From a selection of vines of this famous Grand Cru Classé, it is harvested, vinified and bottled with the same meticulous care: harvest in crates, fermentation in the Clerc Milon vat, aging in barrels using traditional methods. Everything is there to express the elegance and richness of a great Pauillac.
