BURGUNDY | FRANCE

65 years old vines.

The grapes come from the village of Pommard in the south of the Côte de Beaune, between Beaune and Volnay. Soil: limestone and a little clay.

While tannins give a dry core to the wine, it also has ripe red fruits and plenty of them. Along with structure there is a sense of richness and potential opulence. Drink this wine, with its concentrated, juicy aftertaste, from 2021.
